Introducing Nexon: Transparent & Safe Lending protocol on zkSync
Nexon Finance will launch its lending protocol on zkSync to unlock the ability to Lend & Borrow crypto assets transparently on-chain.
Introduction:
We are delighted to announce that we are launching on zkSync. This will allow DeFi users to finally make their assets productive through lending or achieving leverage through borrowing.
Money markets have proven to be one of the essential DeFi primitives. Nexon is a community-built permission-less Lending protocol. This would enable anyone including new & existing Projects/DAOs to create their own lending pools. Nexon is a zkSync native lending protocol. Nexon is a community-built project so anyone can contribute towards building it on zkSync.
Why zkSync
DeFi would only be able to surpass its centralized counterparts if its open & affordable to use. zkSync is a zk rollup with Ethereum as its settlement and data availability layer. zkSync is built to provide excellent scalability without compromising security. Thanks to this Nexon users will be able to lend & borrow without paying a hefty transaction fee. zkSync has better security guarantees which are equivalent to Ethereum Mainnet. This would attract users & builders who truly value decentralization and a transparent ecosystem. Below is a detailed thread about “Why zkSync?”
About zkSync
zkSync is an open-source Layer-2 blockchain that eliminates Ethereum’s costly gas fees, scaling constraints, and performance barriers using zero-knowledge proofs. Built by a distributed team of leading cryptographers and engineers, zkSync is designed to unlock the full potential of blockchain technology while scaling the core values of Ethereum.Bootstrapped by initial funding from the Ethereum Foundation, zkSync has powered over 10 million transactions, fuels major web3 applications including Argent and Gitcoin, and recently launched the first EVM compatible zero-knowledge rollup allowing developers to deploy general-purpose applications written in Solidity.
